What’s a Holistic Pelvic Care™ Session Like?
During your first Holistic Pelvic Care™ you share a brief health history and discuss your goals with Dr. Hoffman. Together, you’ll explore questions and concerns you have about the therapy. Dr. Hoffman will do some external palpations as an initial evaluation of your pelvis.
If you’re comfortable, she’ll continue with internal palpitations to identify trigger points and tension patterns within your pelvis. This assessment will serve as a guide for your follow up sessions.
Each follow-up session will begin with a re-assessment of your pelvis’ health. It may include gentle massage, myofascial and trigger point release, and energy balancing techniques. You will also often be asked to participate in breathing exercises. Generally, patients need 1 – 6 sessions, depending on their goals.
